Emergency
Cases
During surgery hours please telephone the surgery as usual. The receptionist
will contact the doctor on call. GEMS (Glasgow Emergency Medical Services)
provide emergency cover when the surgery is closed: Monday to Friday
6.00pm to 7.00am and weekends and public holidays. Should you require
emergency treatment between these hours please telephone the surgery,
where an answering machine will give you the contact number for the
out-of-hours service. The emergency centre is designed to handle conditions
that are too serious to wait until the next working day. Please do not
drop in unannounced, always telephone first. Our nearest emergency centre
is based at Lightburn Hospital.
Disabled
Access
Budhill surgery is equipped with facilities for the disabled. This includes
suitable access, parking and a WC.
The surgery at Edinburgh Road has a wheelchair ramp to the side of the
building, suitable car park and a disabled WC.
